Interim Financial Controller (4-6 months)

Central London (Victoria)

£500-600 per day

We Do Group is supporting a highly successful broking group with a critical interim hire that will lead the finance function for a rapid growth division prior to a permanent member of staff joining.

We are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller who has the ability to be both hands on and take a high level view across a fast growing, FCA regulated division.

This position works closely with the Group CFO, Group FC and Divisional CEO and is offering high levels of autonomy.

The Role

The successful Interim Financial Controller will lead the following:

  • Day-to-day oversight of the Finance function for the division.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly accounts for the division, including variance and commentary for senior management and board.
  • Ensure compliance with latest accounting and FCA regulatory requirements.
  • Assess, recommend and implement appropriate internal controls.
  • Lead on the annual audit and the production of the division's Annual Report & Accounts.
  • Support the establishment of an FP&A structure and reporting that guides business decision making.
  • Support and contribute to the go live and post go-live remediation of a new group wide ERP system within your division, including process mapping, testing and post go live remediation.
  • Business partner internal operational stakeholders, Divisional CEO and Group finance team.
  • Liaison with external service providers (e.g. tax advisors, systems providers, banks, auditors, suppliers).

Your Profile

We are looking for a well-educated and bright, fully qualified accountant, who has a strong technical accounting background allied to the ability to oversee the delivery of insightful management reporting.

We need someone diligent, detail orientated and driven who has the mindset to add value.

The business culture is agile and collaborative so you'll need to have the ability to challenge internal and stakeholders when appropriate while pro-actively seeking to make improvements wherever possible.

Salary & Benefits

£500-£600 per day (inside IR35). This role is based in stunning offices in central London.
