Interim Group Financial Accountant - 3-6 Months - Up to £550 per Day (Outside IR35) - London - Hybrid - ACCA/CIMA/ACA

IN2 Consult are partnering with a reputable Utilities business based in London on their recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant on an interim basis for 3-6 months.

This role requires a candidate who can come in and hit the ground running, with proven experience of preparing statutory accounts under IFRS, group consolidations of multiple entities, and process improvements.

This Interim Group Financial Accountant role includes the following duties:

• Prepare statutory financial statements for the group and individual entities in compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform group consolidations for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group policies.
• Support the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and coordinating necessary documentation.
• Ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements within financial reporting, consolidations, and controls.
• Assist with tax and regulatory reporting as required.
• Work closely with finance teams across different entities to standardise and enhance reporting procedures.

The ideal candidate for this Interim Group Financial Accountant will have the following experience:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
• Available Immediately or on short notice
• Big 4 Background with Industry Experience would be preferred
• Strong Year-End statutory accounts experience
• Proven track record in producing group consolidations for multiple entities
• Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors during year-end audits
• Prior experience in improving internal controls and processes
