Interim Group Financial Controller needed for an awesome global gaming brand! Working closely with the Group FD, the successful candidate will lead the financial control and reporting functions. You will also be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and maintaining a robust control environment across the group.

Key responsibilities include -

  • Preparing monthly financial results, along with consolidated financial and statutory accounts.
  • Providing financial analysis to support decision-making, including performance assessments and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Leading financial aspects of investment transactions, including due diligence and acquisition accounting.
  • Managing UK VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Take charge of the whole financial close process, whilst continuing to develop and mentor the finance team

Candidate requirements -

  • Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, particularly in accounting and integration
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS multi-currency consolidation
  • Be a proven, hands-on manager who is comfortable with mentoring and developing a small team
  • Ability to adapt and change with a rapidly evolving organisational environment
