My client is a large UK institution with a complex accounting structure and reporting requirements. In the lead up to year end, they are seeking interim expertise to support them with the delivery of the accounts and subsequent audit.
Key duties:
- Provide specialist professional leadership and technical accounting expertise to the finance function.
- Support the delivery of the group annual financial statements and statutory audit process including planning and financial statements.
- Ensure all financial statements are in line with the necessary accounting practices including IFRS and US GAAP.
The successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience in preparing accounts for large multi-national organisations (internal or within audit). Prior experience of consolidations and US GAAP also essential. You must bring a can-do attitude, willing to cover a broad spectrum of duties ranging from hands on investigation work, to strategic leadership of the team.
