About the Role:My client is looking for a motivated and newly qualified Management Accountant to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of an established company while gaining valuable industry experience. You will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting process, managing budgets, and providing insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse management accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making across departments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing any audit findings.
  • Collaborate with various teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient financial management.

Key Requirements:

  • Newly qualified accountant
  • Strong experience in audit (either from a Big 4 or other reputable firms).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
