Client Details

Our client is a mid-sized Charity based in London, dedicated to supporting the sports sector. With a focus on providing aid and funding to athletes and sports initiatives, they strive to foster a nurturing environment for all involved in the sporting community.

Description

  • Overseeing the creation and implementation of financial policies
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing forecasts
  • Evaluating financial performance and making appropriate recommendations
  • Providing financial advice and support to project managers
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Contributing to the development of the organisation's strategic financial objectives

Profile

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
