Description
- Overseeing the creation and implementation of financial policies
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
- Monitoring cash flow and preparing forecasts
- Evaluating financial performance and making appropriate recommendations
- Providing financial advice and support to project managers
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Contributing to the development of the organisation's strategic financial objectives
Profile
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
Job Offer
- An estimated day rate of £300-400pd
- 1 or 2 days in the office in central
