Robertson Bell is working with a unique charity to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide cover, leading a hands-on finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and make a real impact. This role is offered on a fully remote basis and part time hours are required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the charity's finance function, including monthly management accounts, payroll, and year-end accounts
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic input to the senior management team
  • Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant with significant experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the charity/not-for-profit sector
  • Have excellent technical finance skills and the ability to translate complex information for non-finance stakeholders
  • Be a confident communicator and able to challenge constructively
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment

This is a 4-5 month interim contract, with a competitive day rate on offer, depending on experience.
