CMC Consulting is seeking a part-time Management Accountant for a growing retailer on a short-term basis to support their finance team.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, assisting with year-end trial balance preparation, and producing VAT returns.
The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in the retail sector and must be immediately available.
The client is looking to interview candidates as soon as possible, with a target start date of April 1st.
Salary details have not been specified, but applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and have relevant experience.

CMC Consulting has partnered with a growing retailer who require a part-time Management Accountant on a short term basis, to support the finance team.

Duties include:

Preparation of the monthly management accounts
Assist with year-end trial balance prep
Production of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Production of VAT returns
Act as a business partner to the external audit team
Provide ad-hoc support to the operational finance team where needed

Due to the urgency of the role you will be immediately available, with the client looking to interview ASAP with a start date of 1st April in mind. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience working within retail.
