Cedar is currently partnered with an established Logistics business to secure an Interim Project Accountant, based in Central London. The role is a 3 - 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £375 and £425 per day (Ltd / Outside IR35).

The Role
As Interim Project Accountant, you will:
- Oversee the intercompany process at each period end, ensuring all intercompany charges are reconciled with the management accountants and correctly allocated to the relevant intercompany general ledger codes and work orders.
- Drive process improvements to enhance both the efficiency and accuracy of intercompany accounting.
- Work collaboratively to identify and resolve any intercompany discrepancies.
- Implement automation for intercompany reports to improve overall efficiency.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
- Previous experience in building financial reports and financial modelling.
- Previous experience in intercompany accounting.
- Strong Excel skills and experience in using financial systems.
- Though not essential, experience with SAP 4HANA would be advantageous.
- Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments.
- Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
- The rate of £375 and £425 per day (Ltd / Outside IR35) represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
