Interim Senior AccountantLondon Hybrid£400 - £450 p/day umbrella3 month contract

We have partnered with a rapidly expanding business in London who are looking for the interim support of a Senior Accountant. The role requires a qualified individual who will be responsible for maintaining accounting ledgers, assisting in management reporting and ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported, providing essential insights to guide decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial close including cost centre and ledger reviews for accruals
  • Prepare and post recurring journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconcile cash activity with general ledger and bank statements
  • Perform monthly analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement items
  • Manage intercompany recharges, reconciliations, and dispute resolution
  • Prepare budget vs. actuals reports for multiple cost centers
  • Assist with Group projects accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Support the Group accountant with transactional accounting and serve as backup
  • Contribute to annual statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
  • Focus on process improvement and participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Extensive experience as an accountant
  • Strong excel skills
  • Working knowledge of IFRS

The client operates a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 3 days from home. Candidates should be available at short notice
