Interim Statutory Accountant - 3 months

London based - 4 days in the office

£350 - £400 p/day umbrella

Are you a qualified Statutory Accountant looking for your next interim opportunity? I'm hiring for a leading real estate business that needs an experienced professional to support their financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts under IFRS/UK GAAP
  • Assist with year-end reporting and liaise with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Support the finance team in consolidations and technical accounting matters
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in statutory reporting and audit processes
  • Knowledge of real estate, property, or related industries is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Immediately available or on a short notice period
