International Reporting Accountant | 4 months contract | £500-£600 per day (inside IR35) | London/Hybrid (3 days office based)Arthur Financial have partnered with an established insurance business based in London to support with their search for an experienced International Reporting Accountant to join to support the finance function through year-end reporting. This role will initially be for 4 months on a contract basis and ideally starting before the end of January.Key Responsibilities
  • Set out processes and produce accounting memos, whilst supporting with current business positions.
  • Evaluate current Consolidation approach and process to make it more efficient, connected and automated.
  • Support with implementing new financial statement preparation software.
  • Post prior year audit adjustments and UK GAAP adjustments into Workday.
  • Review the requirements of new disclosures.
  • Update the disclosure notes for 2024 reporting.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Strong hands-on experience in preparing UK GAAP consolidated financial statements.
  • Solid Experience in reading through and decipher UK GAAP accounting literature.
  • Awareness of differences between UK, US GAAP and IFRS and other GAAPs (Italian, Netherland, Spain, Brazil, Poland).
  • Familiarity with Workday financial reporting tool.
  • Experience working with auditors.
  • Experience in collaborating with International Finance members.
