Job SummaryRyder Reid Legal is seeking an International Tax Senior Specialist to join one of our prestigious, global law firm clients at their London office. You will support the Tax and Partner Accounting team on tax matters for non-US offices, including London, and European and Asian offices. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in international tax and partner accounting, working closely with the Senior International Tax Manager and the New York-based Tax team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain documentation for tax filings, including UK and international operations and partnerships.
  • Research tax laws, regulations, and trends concerning complex domestic and international tax issues.
  • Maintain tax compliance calendars and control schedules.
  • Assist with partner distribution processes and cash flow reporting.
  • Support London-based partners with their personal tax positions in conjunction with external advisors.
  • Liaise with the wider business services team on tax implications of their work.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and tax research.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Public accounting experience in a large professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with UK tax legislation for partnerships and international tax aspects.
