Our client a leading Accountancy practice, based in the NW6 postcode, London, are currently looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a solid foundation in an accounting practice while working with a diverse portfolio of clients and working with some market leaders.
Your role will involve
- Bookkeeping & Receipt Analysis
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns with confidence.
- Ledger Maintenance: Manage sales and purchase ledgers efficiently.
- Account Preparation Assistance: Support in preparing accounts for sole traders and limited companies.
- Bank Account Management: Assist in running bank accounts and gaining approval for payments.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with major stakeholders.
- Working alongside various teams to uphold best practises.
Experience you will have:
- Educated to A-level/Degree
- Experience of working in accountancy
- Currently studying towards or willing to pursue an accounting qualification
- Adaptable, hard-working, and loyal.
- Great attention to detail.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- IT literate, eager to master key accounting software.
- Positive attitude, flexible, and committed to confidentiality.
