My client - a world-renowned TV/Film business based in ARCHWAY STATION is seeking a JNR PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth! This role is working one exciting new film and TV productions!

PLEASE NOTE - This role is based in the office for 4 out of 5 days (Mon-Thu)

**The ideal candidate will already be working in a TV/Film business or has a love for the industry!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Suppliers and crew invoices processing and payments, and the implementation of these costs into project reporting

  • Preparation of variance analysis of monthly actuals vs forecast and budget

  • Bank and balance sheet accounts reconciliations

  • Short and long-range cashflow preparation, variance analysis and adjustments

  • Support in cost reporting package preparation

You will also in the medium term support the FM with:

  • Internal recharges

  • Payroll & pensions management

  • VAT returns and PAYE payments

  • Tax credit reporting and analysis

  • Year-end audit

  • Long-range planning and budgeting

.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
  • Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
  • Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
  • Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Well organised, with the ability to keep to strict deadlines in a face paced and high growth environment
