About the RoleA great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a fast-paced company in the media and production sector. This role is perfect for someone with experience in finance within television or creative industries, looking to take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis while working closely with production teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Oversee revenue recognition, ensuring accurate income journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure production costs are aligned.
- Handle royalty accounting, tracking statements, invoicing, and payments.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts, budgets, and board reports.
- Provide cover for the Financial Controller when required.
- Part-qualified accountant with experience in media, production, or television.
- Strong background in management accounting and statutory reporting.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to work hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience using Xero.
