Our client is a HNWI seeking a highly effective Management Accountant who has a hands-on approach and can thrive in a dynamic environment as part of a small international finance and business team. This person will be keen to know everything and anything they can about the group of businesses, have an inherent interest in the financial, operations and project management.

This person will want to engage with the various financial pillars and operations, take ownership to improve them, make them more efficient and provide the key decision makers regular, up to date facts and figures to help make those decisions. This is an opportunity to work in a unique, multi-faceted business and private office to get an insight into all areas within a production agency and private office.

Group

  • Assist FD in preparing group quarterly management accounts
  • Assist FD in supporting subsidiaries in Europe & South America
  • Assist FD in private office matter and projects

General Ledger

  • Process monthly payroll and pension for the London Studio
  • Post Accruals, prepayments and various journals as required
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and ad hoc reports
  • Reconcile nominal ledgers accounts and ensuring correct postings to departments
  • Assist in Studio cashflow and budgets
  • Assist in Annual audit and tax returns
  • Assist in maintaining insurance policies

Sales Ledger/Project Management

  • Liaise directly with clients and follow up on various invoicing matters
  • Processing invoices into Synergist (Project Management System) and Xero postings
  • Support FD in raising intercompany recharge to other group entities
  • Assist FD in running project report to review costs and periodic spending in comparison to the agreed budgets

Purchase Ledger

  • Processing invoices into Synergist (Project Management System) and Xero postings
  • Propose payments for bi-weekly payment run to be reviewed by FD
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • Perform Bank reconciliations, dealing with international currency including GBP, Euros and USD
  • Perform Company credit cards reconciliation

Requirements

  • Working in a production/agency environment or family office
  • Experience with Xero or similar with good excel skills and a great communicator
  • CIMA qualified or equivalent (Or final stages of studying CIMA)Fulltime role with hybrid working arrangement.
