Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office and remote work. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor one junior team member, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Provide study support to the junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
