Management Accountant

London (Victoria)

£50,000- £55,000 + bonus & benefits

We are looking for a hands on Management Accountant to support a rapidly growing financial services business with international operations in 10+ countries.

This position reports directly into the Group Financial Controller and requires someone with a keen eye for detail who is driven and likes to improve processes wherever possible.

The Role

The successful Management accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Management Accounts production including month-end adjustments, review of accruals & prepayments, variance and commentary.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Review closing of AP, AR and GL.
  • Review and analyse intercompany postings across the division's international entities and post recharges as required.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Review of Bank Reconciliations weekly & monthly.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Payroll - reconciliation, payroll journals and Holiday Accruals based on the monthly information provided by the Payroll.
  • Cash Forecast - in charge of the weekly updates and provide cover for the other entities when necessary.
  • Provide support for bank covenant reporting.
  • Manage FX postings and necessary adjustments.

We need someone who is technically capable, comfortable with the nitty gritty elements of finance in a fast paced international business and who is a real people person.

Great attention to detail and a desire to partner with stakeholders internally and externally e.g. operations, auditors and tax advisors is desirable!

Your Profile

We are looking for a bright and adaptable accountant who has experience delivering management accounts, ideally in a multi-entity multi-currency environment.

Experience of Sage would be a bonus as well as strong Excel skills.
