Management Accountant Opportunity - Leading Global Marketing & Localization Agency

Are you ready to join a dynamic team at the forefront of global marketing and localization? Our client, a world-renowned agency dedicated to helping brands connect meaningfully with audiences worldwide, is seeking a Management Accountant (qualified or part-qualified) to step into a newly created role within their growing London-based team.

This is a hybrid position that offers the chance to collaborate with a passionate team while supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be involved in the entire finance function, with excellent opportunities for career progression as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct detailed variance analysis.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance against budgets.
  • Deliver financial reports and month-end tasks with insightful qualitative analysis.
  • Provide ad-hoc, data-driven analysis to meet evolving business needs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate project profitability and provide financial insights.
  • Drive process improvements by automating and enhancing accounting systems and controls.
  • Streamline revenue recognition and cost accrual processes.
  • Manage HMRC returns (VAT, Corporation Tax) and Swiss VAT submissions.
  • Support annual audit processes and associated tasks.
  • Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

About You

Essential:

  • Qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and proven analytical ability.
  • High attention to detail with a logical approach to interpreting and manipulating data.
  • Confident presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • A professional mindset with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the media and communications industry.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to think and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
