Role Overview
As a qualified Management Accountant, based in Soho, you will prepare management accounts, deliver financial insights, and collaborate with teams to meet growth objectives. You must have full-set management accounts ownership.
Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Management Reporting: Deliver accurate monthly accounts with actionable insights on variances.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Create annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with strategic goals.
- Financial Analysis: Evaluate KPIs, profitability, and costs to recommend efficiency and growth strategies.
- Business Partnering: Provide financial guidance to operational and commercial teams to improve decision-making.
- Cost Management: Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Process Improvement: Optimize financial systems and processes for efficiency and control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure financial activities meet relevant regulations and standards.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute financial input to initiatives like product launches, pricing, and funding applications.
Management Accountant Requirements:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Management Accountant, preferably in SMEs within FMCG or retail.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting; advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial data and drive business growth.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced SME environment.
