A leading professional services firm are seeking an ambitious and skilled Management Accountant to join the Finance team.

Based in the heart of London, 2 x a week and reporting in to the Finance Director, this role offers hands-on experience in management accounting, financial reporting and business partnering.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of financial processes for the Netherlands entity (if you have experience in the Netherlands / speak Dutch that would be advantageous).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare manual journals with accuracy and precision.
  • Take full ownership of the P&L variance analysis, identifying trends and providing insightful commentary.
  • Reconcile Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Finance Directore and CFO, building strong relationships to support business decisions.
  • Take full ownership of the Netherlands entity, managing all aspects of its financial reporting and operations.
  • Process and reconcile payroll entries, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L analysis, WIP accounts, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experience with international entities (such as the Netherlands) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Micorsfot Excle and familiarity with systems such asd EXACT and GP group systems, desirable
