Kenny Recruit are recruiting for a Management Accountant/Finance Manager for a well established advertising company in Central London. They are part of a larger group so there will be lots of opportunity for growth and progression, this role has in fact come to market due to internal promotions.
The role is to assist in the production of management accounts, forecasts and reporting to the group headquarters, coupled with providing support to the Financial Controller and Finance Director on various work streams and projects. There will be lots of responsibility in this role and we're ideally looking for someone who wishes to become qualified further down the line, ideally you're actively studying.
Pay: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience) + benefits
Location: Central London - 50% of the week in the office, flexible working hours for days worked in the office.
Working hours: 9:00am - 5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with preparation of management accounts/forecasts and reporting to HQ
- Prepare month end closing; handling accruals, prepayments, deferred Income, fixed assets, foreign exchange
- Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
- Prepare monthly revenue by client statements
- Co-operate and communicate with local and regional media and finance teams
- Develop relationships with HQ personnel
- Potential to be involved in pitch pricing
- Handle other ad hoc assignment when required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience, preferably from media or marketing agency background
- Strong Excel skills a must
- Confident yet diplomatic communicator
- Attention to detail and technical skills essential, strong understanding of double entry is a must
- Prior exposure to Hyperion, Media Ocean or DDS useful, but not essential
- Proactive with "cando" attitude, a problem solver and self motivated, who is prepared to change and create new processes when needed
- Able to multitask with minimal guidance and work to tight schedules
