Management Accountant – Real EstatePermanent | London | Hybrid | £55,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting for a rapidly growing, private equity-backed property management firm. Specialising in Property & Asset Management, this niche commercial real estate consultancy delivers high quality, tailored services to its clients.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to lead the production of management accounts and oversee financial reporting, ensuring the business has the insights needed to make commercially sound decisions. This role will partner across all departments, working closely with the finance team to maintain data accuracy and relevance.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly analytical, and an excellent communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work with large data sets in Excel, identifying trends and offering recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in management accounting.
  • Strong technical skills in operational finance (AP, AR) and accounting systems.
  • Ability to manage large data sets, identifying insights to drive decisions.
  • Real estate or property accounting experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with accounting software.
