An amazing law firm are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join their dynamic Finance team based in London. This role will sit within the Reporting and Analysis team, which is part of a larger Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the UK reporting requirements of our global group.

As the Management Accountant some of your key responsibilities are:
- Produce UK monthly management accounts, including P&Ls, balance sheet, cash flows, and supporting reports such as variance analysis.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely production of management accounts.
- Prepare headcount and other KPI reports, investigating variances to budget.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany, accounts payable, bank loans, other debtors/creditors, and PAYE.
- Liaise with the Accounts Payable team regarding expenses, invoice postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain UK accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Review monthly overhead expenditure reports and perform variance analysis.
- Complete the UK overheads budget and assist in preparing other areas of the annual budget.
- Support the annual audit process.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed.
- Understand and assist with the maintenance of the general ledger setups.
- Manage the management accounts software, including overhead allocation methodology.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Qualifications and Experience needed for this Management Accountant role:
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).
- Confident in multicurrency bookkeeping and statutory requirements.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrable capability of identifying process improvements.
- Previous experience in the legal sector is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, especially with non-finance staff.
- Proficient in Excel and other IT systems.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and experience with 3e and xCelerate or similar systems is beneficial.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
