Role: Management Accountant

Salary: £55,000 pa - £65,000 paLocation: London

Finitas is partnering with a leading specialty insurance group to recruit a Management Accountant. The role involves supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual management, statutory, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills, experience with general ledger systems, and knowledge of US & UK GAAP.
  • Strong team player with leadership, delegation, and ownership of tasks.
  • Highly self-motivated, analytical, and detail oriented.
  • Effective communicator with excellent planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monthly/quarterly expense reporting, variance analysis, invoice/bank journal approvals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Support the production of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, allocation drivers, and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile accounts, prepare VAT returns, and assist with statutory/regulatory filings.
  • Assist in managing staff and conducting financial reviews of potential brokers.

As per the above, this role will be up to 3 days onsite.
