Your new companyOur client, a well-established independent Lloyd's Insurance Broker, based in the heart of the City of London, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their organisation. You will be joining a tight-knit finance team and reporting to their Head of Finance who has been with the business for over five years. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and personable individual to join a friendly, open and flexible working environment.

Your new role

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assist with the month-end process, maintaining balance sheet and P&L schedules and reconciliations
  • Check, post and pay purchase invoices
  • Reconcile sales, purchase and nominal ledgers as well as cash books and trial balances
  • Preparation of revenue, expense and cash flow forecasts
  • Work with management team on annual group and project budgets
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements
  • Assist with various regulatory reporting requirements
