The opportunity is a 6-month FTC, for an experienced Management Accountant to be a part of an international Finance team based out of London. This is a broad role with responsibility for managing a wide variety of accounting and reporting processes. This role reports to the Financial Accountant who will provide day-to-day guidance and support.

Description

Responsibilities

  • The successful Managament Accountant will be preparing annual budgets for circa. $18m of royalty/license/additives/merchandising fees of 75 customers
  • Collect quarterly sales reports from entities and licensees to enable timely and accurate calculation of fees to be billed
  • Invoice in autonomy the circa. $18m related income as per individual contracts, post the
  • corresponding entries in sales ledger (deferred or accrued), manage the monthly injection in P&L (deferred or accrued), maintain monthly management accounts
  • Daily posting of purchase ledger invoices for 4 Gulf Oil International entities, circa 25 invoices per week
  • Manage payment runs on a weekly basis and ad-hoc as required to ensure timely payment
  • Process cash entries to reflect vendor payments in the accounting ledgers
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of information
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and processing of all associated system entries and journals
  • Monitor cash balances to ensure liquidity for future payment requirement
  • Manage Deferred and Accrued Income account for license income

Profile

Key Skills and Attributes

  • AAT (Book-keeping) Qualification or similar / qualified by experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is a must such as debit/credit, reconciliations, Purchase and Sales Ledger etc
  • IT literate with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritise workload
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Hands-on, Drive and ambition, Trustworthy
  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (beneficial)

Job Offer
