Management Accountant - Newly Qualified Considered - US Company - London / Hybrid Working - Competitive salary + benefits and bonus

We have a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified Management Accountant to join a US company in their small London team.

Joining a dynamic, forward-thinking and inclusive team of approximately 20 and reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the general accounts and reporting for the UK and European entities.

Suitable candidates will ideally be recently ACCA, AAT or CIMA qualified, have experience in similar accountancy roles (ideally in-house rather than practice) and will be personable, proactive and professional.

What’s on offer?This is a newly created role in a well-established, successful organisation with offices in New York, London and Europe. Our client is offering a competitive salary together with 27 days annual leave, private healthcare, pension scheme and bonus. This is a hybrid role with approximately 2 days in the London office and 3 at home, although there may be flexibility over this.

Key responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, assisting in year end audit and producing journals for teams in London, Germany, Spain and Italy
  • Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Production of key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income
  • Collating and posting of corporate credit card expenses
  • Assisting in the year end statutory and CASS audit
  • Daily cashbook management
  • Purchase invoice postings and sales invoice / policy creation

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant accountancy qualifications (ACCA, AAT, CIMA etc), our client will considered newly qualified
  • Experience in similar financial roles
  • IT literate - experience of Quickbooks, Blackline and/or Sun Systems is advantageous
  • Knowledge and/or experience of management accounts and reporting
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, dynamic and proactive nature
