Our client, an innovative energy solutions company, is exclusively partnered with Aila to recruit a Management Accountant to join their rapidly expanding team permanently. About the Company:
  • Turnover: c.£30m & Series B fundraising complete at £140m
  • Founded in 2022, 400 employees and growing at 30 heads each month
  • Sustainable & clean energy tech business, scaling rapidly
The Role:As a Management Accountant you will be producing monthly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting the consolidation of the Group’s financial statements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate transactional processing
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Weekly and Monthly Cash Flow reporting and forecasting
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly.
  • Supporting the preparation of year end group and subsidiary financial statements
  • Key liaison with external auditors to ensure the annual audit is completed accurately on time and in budget.
  • Ensure all group acquisitions and disposals are accounted for on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis for CFO and central Finance team based Overseas
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in working capital management
  • Reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of the VAT and other external compliance returns
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in financial rigour and quality control
  • Ad hoc commercial projects and supporting the Operations teams
