Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office and remote work. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor one junior team member, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide study support to the junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
