Management Accountant Vacancy Salary up to 40K PLUS STUDYCentral LondonHybrid working 3/2 *MUST ACTIVELY STUDY TOWARDS ACA, ACCA or CIMA*JOB PURPOSESupport the Corporate Accounting Manager, Group Financial Accountant and Senior Group Reporting Manager in the monthly financial close process and deliverance of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in conjunction with Group Accounting Policy and IFRS.As a genuine team-player, you'll work with our central, regional, and local finance teams to improve financial and statutory reporting requirements. REPORTING TO: Corporate Accounting Manager MAIN DUTIES: Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.Prepare financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting:Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Variance Analysis: Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.Provide explanations and recommendations for any discrepancies.Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits.Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Team Collaboration:Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards.Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities.Work towards professional accounting qualifications with provided study support.PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS Essential:? Degree in finance/accounting or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution? Holder of a professional accounting qualification(s)(ACA, CIMA or equivalent) - Part qualified/ newly qualified? Strong academic performance at tertiary level in the relevant discipline? Maintaining ledgers of Holding companies/ Head Office? Strong performer in previous role(s)? Highly analytical? Good Excel skills? Ability to "think outside the box" and create from scratch Desirable:? Knowledge of financial systems, including Navision and OneStream?
