A large and rapidly expanding high street branded company is seeking a qualified accountant to join their team in a high-profile role.
The position involves ownership of end-to-end management accounts, including posting prepayments and accruals, and ensuring month-end completion.
Key responsibilities include producing management accounts with insightful commentary, presenting results to senior stakeholders, and business partnering with HQ teams.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong management accounts experience and a proactive approach to adding value through analysis.
The salary for this role is competitive, and applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Large and rapidly expanding high street branded company are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join a friendly team in a high profile role with great exposure to the CFO and senior stakeholders.

Duties will include:-Ownership of end-to-end management accountsPosting prepayments/accruals (areas of subjectivity) and working with the rest of the team to ensure month end completed by WD5Production of management accounts and management accounts pack, with thoughtful commentary & analysisPresenting flash and final results to Head of Finance & CFOBusiness partnering with HQ teams, creating spend reports and spend playback meetings with stakeholders Taking initiative with follow up actions from month end / spend playback meetingsSend out site to P&Ls to sites, liaising with operations with queries and follow upVAT submissionsOwn key balance sheet reconciliations You will be a qualified accountant with strong management accounts experience, eager to take on full ownership of management accounts production and add value with insightful analysis
