I’m currently working exclusively with a boutique FinTech firm to find a Management Accountant. The company offers payment solutions for trading services through its numerous business lines. The role has been created due to the ongoing growth YOY and increasing client base.

As a Management Accountant you have responsible for the P&L, client money reporting, month-end financial and management reporting, assisting with regulatory and tax submissions and the annual audit process. Other duties include:

  • Preparing and posting journals to the Xero ledger and performing analytical reviews as part of month-end.
  • Preparing management P&L numbers for the different business units.
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including commentary and analysis of variances.
  • Preparing & reviewing daily P&L and client money reporting.
  • Identify problems, issues or inefficiencies, communicate them and offers solutions.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, ensuring the timely production of financial information, liaison with the auditors and production of the annual report and accounts.
  • Candidate will be a ACA, CA qualified accountant
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • A confident communicator with a positive attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with propensity to take the initiative
