My client, a well-known charity, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
The role requires a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) or someone working towards qualification, with experience in the Non-Profit sector.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting, supporting annual audit work, and line managing two finance assistants.
The position offers a salary of £45,000 per year and involves hybrid working with two days in the office and three from home.
Candidates with local authority contract experience and an understanding of charity SORP reporting requirements are preferred.

The main responsibilities of the Management Accountant are:

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of the budget
Support the Head of Finance to prepare for the annual audit work
Line managing x2 finance assistants

My client is looking for:

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) or working towards qualification.
Understand charity SORP reporting requirements
Experience of working in the Non-Profit sector
Experience of line managing a small team
