This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to a fast-paced business while developing their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.Role OverviewReporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring strong financial controls. This position will suit a proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on role and is eager to support strategic financial decision-making.Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
  • Review and analyse monthly management accounts and provide insightful commentary of performance to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, analysing trends and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Monitor cost efficiencies, stock management, and margin performance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
The successful Management Accountant:
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • Proven experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
