Are you an aspiring trainee accountant that’s working towards AAT / ACCA / ACA studies with roughly 6 - 12 months of outsourcing experience, but would like to work for one of London’s most exciting and innovative accounting firms?

Key Responsibilities of this junior outsourcing role;

  • Undertake bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and basic accounts prep.
  • Prepare monthly payroll.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, processing of payments and month end close, including prepayments, accruals and journals.
  • Support more senior colleagues with monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Support with systems implementation and improvements, with the use of modern accounting software and systems.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects in support of senior colleagues.
  • Liaise directly with clients, answering queries as required.

You

  • Currently studying or recently completed AAT Level 2/3, looking to progress with AAT level 4 or ACA / ACCA studies.
  • 6 - 12 Months experience that must have been gained within a practice / accounting firm environment.
  • Must have knowledge of bookkeeping and general finance processes.
  • Experience with accounting packages such as Xero and Quickbooks as well as other cloud based software is preferable.
  • Willingness to develop knowledge, support the team and enhance your own career.
