Part Qualified Management Accountant & Business Growth Support - Rapid-growth FinTech / SaaS - up to £60,000
We have an incredible opportunity available for a part qualified Management Accountant, with a desire to be actively involved in the wider business and gain a full understanding of the product, to join a fantastic fintech startup on a remote or hybrid working basis as soon as possible.
The Opportunity:
This is the perfect opportunity for a Part Qualified Management Accountant, with relevant industry experience, to join an immediately successful fintech startup.
This is a standalone role that will allow you to delve deep into the business, learning and developing from every angle and helping to forge rapid and long-lasting business success. With the opportunity to personally grow in the role and within the company, this is a genuinely incredible opportunity for a business savvy, forward-thinking and entrepreneurial Accountant with the tenacity and drive to work hard and reap the rewards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the financial operations of the organisation
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Undertaking complex cash-flow forecasting
- Analysing siloed and unstructured financial data
- Preparing and filing Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns
- Completing month-end reconciliations
- Producing monthly management accounts and reports
- Calculating accruals and prepayments
- Establishing financial processes and procedures
- Extensive stakeholder liaison
- Supporting senior management with ad hoc projects
- Business support including liaising with third party introducers, organising trade show attendance and managing meetings and travel for Founder and Co-Founders

What we’re looking for:
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or similar)
- Industry experience rather than practice (unless supporting rapid-growth startups)
- Startup / Fintech experience is highly desirable
- Experienced in complex cashflow management and forecasting
- Ability to work with siloed and unstructured data
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
- Experience of management accounting principles and procedures
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong business relationships at all levels
- Stakeholder liaison experience
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment
- Highly ambitious, driven and focused
- Resilient, tenacious and entrepreneurial spirit
- IT literate with strong MS Office and proficiency with finance software
