Our client, a prestigious accountancy firm with over 80 years of experience and a strong presence in London's West End, is seeking an ambitious individual to join their team.

This accountancy practice have innovative approach to accounting, particularly in the cryptocurrency and web3 sectors. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for accounting and an interest in the rapidly evolving crypto space.

Key Responsibilities:

Crypto Bookkeeping: Play a vital role in recording blockchain transactions, including swaps, liquidity provision, and staking. Gain hands-on experience working with complex crypto transactions.

Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for web3 clients, covering income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Statutory Accounts: Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts for web3 entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as FRS 102(1a) or IFRS.

Ad Hoc Accounting Tasks: Perform reconciliations, journal entries, tax returns, and other accounting duties as required.

Client Support: Deliver outstanding client service by responding to inquiries and providing timely, accurate financial information.

Professional Growth: Take advantage of continuous learning and development opportunities to further enhance your accounting knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

AAT part-qualified or equivalent experience (degree in Accounting also considered).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficient in accounting software, including Xero and QuickBooks.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

A genuine interest in the cryptocurrency and web3 industry is essential.
