An exciting position has arisen for a part-time Finance Officer to join the team at a leading international charity This role will provide essential support during a busy and critical time for the charity.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage supplier invoicing and payments
- Process payment runs for suppliers and staff/volunteers
- Oversee sales invoicing and cash allocations
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Assist with monthly reconciliations of control and balance sheets
- Post monthly journals and manage banking cheques
- Maintain petty cash and issue customer refunds
- Reconcile purchase and sales ledgers
- Handle supplier queries and send out statements
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects
Successful candidate profile:
- Proven experience in a Finance role
- Strong system skills including intermediate Excel skills
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hourly rate: £14-16 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
