Are you looking for a remote & part-time role?Your new companyA cloud-based computer company is seeking a part-time senior finance professional to join their dynamic team to take the lead of their finance team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability. This role will require you to be in the office 2 days a week and 1 day working from home (flexible). This role will report to the owner and will suit someone who is capable of independently working with a solid finance career to date.Your new role

  • Cost Control: Analyse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.
  • Legal and contract reviews
  • Billings: Manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
  • Revenue growth: Contribute to revenue growth by providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Budgeting: Developing and managing annual budgets, tracking performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to work part-time, circa 2/3 days a week
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks).
  • A solid understanding of financial principles and best practices.
