Part Time Management Accountant

The Part Time Management Accountant is a new and exciting role for a luxury retail business based in the City of London (Canary Wharf). The role is 3 days per week of work, and one day per week in the office and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation of the group management accounts across the different entities that the business have.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established entity within the luxury retail sector. The finance team is made up of 10 people (5 in the UK and the rest are spread across the world remotely). The successful Management Accountant will be working closely with all entities in order to consolidate and produce the group's management account packs. They will report directly into the Group Finance Manager and work closely with the Group Finance Director.

The 3 days per week are adaptable and the working hours are flexible. The role will require you to be in the office one day per week, in the City of London (Canary Wharf). They are looking for a candidate to hit the ground running and add value from day 1!

Description

The successful Part Time Management Accountant will:

• Overseeing and preparing the group's management accounts for the various entities
• Assisting with the consolidation of the group management accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the year-end audits
• Monthly variance analysis
• Oversee 2-3 junior Finance Assistants (spread remotely across the world)
• VAT returns

Profile

A successful Part Time Management Accountant should have:

• A wealth of experience in Accounting and Finance
• Strong experience working with multiple entities
• Excellent management accounts knowledge
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent numerical skills and financial acumen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach and ability to work independently

Job Offer

• £40-45,000 (FTE salary) - will be pro-rataed for 3 days per week
