Job Title: Part-Time Credit Controller (Open to Full-Time Candidates)

Location: London Liverpool Street Office

Job Type: 3 days office-based

About the Role:Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers? We are looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role is perfect for someone with experience in Credit Control and a solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our accounting functions. While this is a part-time role, we are open to full-time candidates as well.Your new role

• Proactively chase outstanding payments from clients via email and phone to meet cash receipt targets.
• Allocate cash across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with cash flow requirements.
• Focus on reducing the Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) figure to meet target levels.
• Ensure debt does not exceed 90 days.
• Perform regular reconciliations for three bank accounts.
• Reconcile Sales and Cost of Sales from Eclipse to Xero.
• Review, process, and verify staff expense claims in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the company's cash flow forecast.
• Respond to client and supplier queries professionally and promptly.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualifications: AAT qualified or working towards (preferred).
• Experience: Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, especially in an AP/AR setting with significant exposure to credit control.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero. Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and cash allocation processes. Solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to manage queries confidently and professionally. A proactive and collaborative team player who can also work independently.
