I’m currently partnering with a fast-growing Fintech Investment business to hire a Part-Time Financial Controller. This pivotal role sits at the heart of their finance function, driving process implementation and ensuring efficient month-end delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition the outsourced finance function in-house, establishing scalable processes and controls.
  • Review all management accounts and financial statements.
  • Lead the company audit, responding to all audit queries.
  • Set up new businesses within the group.
  • Manage intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee transactional finance areas (AP/AR/reconciliations/payroll).
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and marketing teams.
  • Take ownership of all Tax, VAT and Corporation Tax.

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Experience working with SMEs, either in-house or through practice.
  • Strong technical reporting experience and advanced Excel skills.
