I’m currently partnering with a fast-growing Fintech Investment business to hire a Part-Time Financial Controller. This pivotal role sits at the heart of their finance function, driving process implementation and ensuring efficient month-end delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transition the outsourced finance function in-house, establishing scalable processes and controls.
- Review all management accounts and financial statements.
- Lead the company audit, responding to all audit queries.
- Set up new businesses within the group.
- Manage intercompany transactions.
- Oversee transactional finance areas (AP/AR/reconciliations/payroll).
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and marketing teams.
- Take ownership of all Tax, VAT and Corporation Tax.
Candidate Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Experience working with SMEs, either in-house or through practice.
- Strong technical reporting experience and advanced Excel skills.
