The Role:They are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Director to join their team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and growing the firm's personal tax offering, working closely with high-net-worth clients to provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. This is a senior leadership position, where the Director will oversee complex tax matters and lead a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and families, providing bespoke tax advisory and planning services.
  • Oversee and ensure the efficient and compliant handling of complex tax affairs for clients, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and tax-efficient structuring.
  • Lead tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial positions for clients.
  • Work closely with senior partners and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Mentor, supervise, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax laws and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including client presentations, networking, and thought leadership activities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.

Skills and Experience:

  • ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification (or substantial equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in personal tax advisory, especially for high-net-worth clients and complex tax matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge in personal taxation, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, and international tax issues.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide both clients and teams.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team of professionals.
  • Ability to establish and nurture strong client relationships.
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
