Personal Tax Senior (Top 50 firm) Central London £45,000 to £55,000 Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent and well-known Top 50 accounting firm based from ultra-modern offices in the heart of Central London that are eager to appoint a skilled Personal Tax Senior to complement the existing tax department. Role Requirements - Providing an efficient, client focused and proactive service to meet the needs of a range of tax clients (HNWIs, OMBS, non-resident landlords, non-domiciles, trusts and partnerships) Working with directors and managers on technical assignments. Managing day to day client portfolio including billing and monitoring work in progress. Ensuring that the firm's risks are managed appropriately. Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC. To liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters. To meet new clients with the appropriate partner/director and be a main point of contact with those clients going forward Preparing personal and partnership tax return To review personal and partnership tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff / prepare complex compliance cases. Person Requirements - Ideally ATT qualified and/or CTA qualified/part qualified with at least 4 years' experience in personal tax working for a prominent UK based firm. Highly proficient in carrying out tax compliance as well as providing ad-hoc tax advisory services to a range of HNW, OMB, non-dom and non-res clients Proficient in a range of tax software to ideally include CCH, Alphatax, TaxCalc This is a prime opportunity to join a firm of accountants with an enviable reputation and offers an outstanding range of benefits.
