Summary:

We are representing a Property Management & Investment firm based in Central London, with a focus on Pan-European value-add instatements across both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. Opening their London office in 2020, they have since grown significantly and now looking to grow their Property Accounting team.

The role will report into the Senior Property Management Accountant and responsible for their portfolio of commercial properties. The portfolio is mixed-use, but a background with hospitality management would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the dedicated portfolio up to net operating income (NOI) level.
  • Responsible for monthly analysis of budget vs actual and investigate variances.
  • Arrange monthly meetings with the Property Managers and other stakeholders to discuss NOI variances.
  • Review and support the annual budget process with Property managers.
  • Build relationship with Operations and finance team, in order, to carry out the tasks efficiently.
  • Raise monthly and quarterly rent and Service charges for designated portfolio.
  • Assist Senior Property Management Accountant with setting up and maintaining lease records on Yardi.
  • Ensure all the unidentified items are posted correctly.
  • Reconciliation of the bank on Yardi on a weekly basis.
  • Assist Property Accountants with quarter end process by ensuring income and expenditure is accounted correctly
  • and accruals are made.
  • Support the other team members in their absence.
  • Review aged debtors' balances with Credit Control team.
  • Run ad-hoc reports as requested by Senior Property Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
