Position: Regulatory Reporting Officer 

Role Overview:The Regulatory Reporting Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of monthly regulatory returns to the PRA. This role involves managing the regulatory reporting software and supporting the Regulatory Reporting Accountant in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly ALMM, LCR, and PRA 110 reports.
  • Compile quarterly returns such as FSA017 and PRA 108.
  • Maintain and update the WIRES system, including generating necessary CAB for IT, and support system and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with departments like IT, Operations, Private Banking, Structured Property Finance, Treasury, and Risk.
  • Provide backup support for the Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly Corep returns and the Pillar 3 document.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in regulatory reporting within a UK bank, including knowledge of capital, liquidity, and COREP.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets, macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar financial services role.
  • A Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach.
