We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Reporting Officer to manage the timely submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns to the PRA and oversee the regulatory reporting software. This role reports directly to the Regulatory Reporting Accountant and is crucial for the smooth operation of the regulatory reporting department.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly ALMM returns, LCR, and PRA 110.
- Prepare quarterly returns, including FSA017 and PRA 108.
- Manage updates to the WIRES system and assist with the production of CAB required by IT.
- Collaborate with various business lines such as IT, Operations, Private Banking, Structured Property Finance, Treasury, and Risk functions.
- Provide cover for the Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant as needed.
- Assist in preparing quarterly Corep returns and the Pillar 3 document.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the CFO, Chief Accountant, and the Regulatory Reporting Accountant.
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting with knowledge of capital, liquidity, and COREP, having had responsibility for preparing and submitting regulatory reports in a UK bank.
- Highly proficient in Excel, capable of handling large data sets and competent in using macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within financial services.
- Qualified accountant status is desirable.
