A global professional services firm are looking for a Reporting Accountant to join the team. This role will suit someone that thrives in a fast-paced envrionment and with a passion for data analysis and financial reporting.

Based in the heart of London, 2 x a week, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a pivtoal role as you will be heavily invovled in the new ERP implementation, utlimately leading parts of it and providing ad hoc analysis to the Senior Leadership team.

Resposnbilities:

As a Reporting Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting across the group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Reporting & Group ProcessesExtract group results from the finance managment system, procude consolidated group results including balance sheet and cash flows.

  • Board-Level ContributionsSupport the preparation of key sections of the monthly board pack, preparing insightful board reports that drive strategic decision-making.

  • Cash Flow OversightProducing daily reports on cash balances across the group to ensure optimal liquidity management, as well as assisting in the analysis and forecasting of cash flows

  • Nominal Code ManagementOverseeing the creation and management of new nominal codes to maintain a streamlined and accurate finance system.

  • P&L Statement PreparationPreparing detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and ensuring they align with group performance metrics.

  • Group Results AnalysisExtracting and consolidating group results from the finance management system for presentation to senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for:
  • Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of IFRS or UK GAAP.
  • Proven experience in managing group reporting and producing detailed P&L statements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex data and deliver meaningful insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems specfically Netsuite and Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to drive continuous improvement across reporting processes.
